A Poem for April

It’s been three years and still
Your name tattooed behind my eyelids
--to never see you again--
Blink vibrations, mimicking crashed moments
Where we slammed forever promises into heart shaped power struggles
Drip quilled memories of once was down splintered cheeks
Bones barely bonded blush meekly
--I always loved you--
