#rm2B, by TS Hawkins, is a choreopoem experience that desires to answer, "do we give ourselves room to be ourselves? Or do we allow societal structures to solely shape how we navigate and exist in the world today?" Using W.E.B DuBois’ Souls of Black Folk as a template, six womyn explore how colorism and the “double consciousness” collide, survive, and questionably thrive in everyday life.
